Dear Beer,

I found the most fabulous beer show on TV today.   Beer Geeks TV.  The following brewer highlight is from today's show:

What caught my eye was  the IPA where they hand-stuff one fresh hop into each bottle.

O'so Brewing Co.

Host of Beer Geek TV and Master Brewer Michael Ferguson visits an outside-the-glass, midwestern brewery, where unique beers include Lupulin Maximus Imperial IPA, Kartoffel Maibock, and Hopdinger Pale Ale. With Oso's owner/brewer Marc Buttera, Michael stuffs fresh hops into IPA bottles, then helps brew up a mashed potato beer. Then it's cooking – pork chops with beer infused apple compote – and a fabulous pairings dinner.

Heading to Central Wisconsin?

You won’t regret stopping in for a cold pint, a brewery tour, and a look around the attached Brew Shop.  They’re located one block west of I-39 in Plover, Wisconsin.  Head west off the exit and turn South at the first traffic light (that’s a “stop and go light” for you locals).  They dominate the center portion of the strip mall one block ahead on the right.

Philanthropic Vision

O’so is a community minded business. We use our business as a catalyst to help others. Every Saturday, our brewery does tours at 2, 3, and 4pm….all the proceeds go to a local charity that we pick on an on need basis.
